Domenica Marsala

Softball has been a big part of my life since I can remember.

I picked up softball once I attended Christ the King being I had to switch from baseball.

This is a decision I wish I had made earlier. Softball became my new love. My last year at Christ the King, not only was I captain, I also won the MVP award.

I worked extremely hard and received a scholarship for Briarcliffe College. At Briarcliffe, playing under Ed Jusino I became the starting second basemen and lead off hitter all four years.

In my four years there, I learned a lot worked closely with Lisa Jusino who is now the head coach. Not only did she teach me things to make me a better player she also taught me how to help my teammates improve their skills. She taught me how to be a lefty slapper because this made me a more rounded player hitting from both sides.

My sophomore year she trusted me enough to grant me the title of junior captain. This meant taking on a leadership role with a lot of responsibilities that I saw how much I love sharing my knowledge and helping others improve their skills. The feeling of helping others better themselves, in the game I love is something I'm never willing to give up.

Now I'm Head Coach of both Christ The King Regional High School Varsity Softball and Dirt Devils 14U Travel Team.

Sign up for our Pre-High school Baseball Prep Clinic for your future High school athlete. This clinic is designed to mentally & physically prepare your child for the rigorous task of playing baseball at the high school level.

High school coaches constantly come to tryouts and see how many kids are still in little league mode. There have been coaches who had to cut kids because incoming freshmen don't know how to act on the playing field. A lot of kids come to tryouts an aren't mentally or physically ready to handle the first day of tryouts.

Many players don't have any idea what to expect at tryouts. This clinic will give your child a head start on the competition.

We will have various different high school coaches that will speak to you about what is expected at a high school level and what you can do to prepare yourself as you enter into your incoming year.
